Terms of Service
Effective September 30, 2026
These terms apply to MS Budget Plus (the "App"), a personal budgeting app provided by Marc Robitaille, doing business as MS Crops ("we," "us"). By using the App or buying a licence, you agree to them.
The App
MS Budget Plus is a personal budgeting app for Android. Its core features are free; a licence unlocks the extra features on one phone at a time.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle handles payment, billing and sales tax, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Current prices are listed on our pricing page, in US dollars; any applicable tax is shown at checkout.
Licences
A licence is either yearly, a subscription billed once a year in advance that renews automatically until cancelled (after cancelling, the licence stays active until the end of the year already paid), or lifetime, a single payment, which lasts for as long as the App is offered. A licence is active on one phone at a time and can be moved to a new phone.
Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The App is a planning tool and does not give financial advice.
Your data
Your budget is stored on your phone. You're responsible for keeping backups of anything you consider important; the App can write a backup file for you to keep wherever you choose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.
Termination
We may withdraw a licence that was refunded, reversed, or obtained in violation of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
